The rain sensor is one of the most common sensors in recent vehicles. The function of these is to regulate the speed, the on and off of the windscreen wipers, although on occasions if it has a built-in light sensor, it can control the on and off of the same.
You can locate this sensor on the upper outer part of your windshield, it looks like a small LED spotlight, another way to find out if your car has this feature is to look for the “auto” function in the wiper selector.
